BlueSkies is based in Oakland, California, and provides a program for early learners (pre-school age) that focuses on play, nurturing, and learning.

My approach was to incorporate play and science in my logo and branding using pinwheels.

I chose a clean and friendly typeface for this project, with widened letters.

Twin Spires is based in Kentucky and is famous for its race-horse games. In the mid-2000s, they wanted a logo for their online presence.

My approach was to illustrate the famous twin spires inspired by a local illustrator and graphic designer.

This wasn’t for a client but a project instead. Hokulani is a bakery in Hawaii and I thought it would be fun to change their identity.

Hokulani means ‘heavenly star’ in Hawaiian. I made the dot of the ‘i’ as a flower, something they would probably decorate on their yummy locally-flavored cupcakes.
